Seminar 'Learning from life' for education professionals
The successfully held professional seminar "Learning from life - strengthening skills for working with children, adolescents and parents in the event of sudden loss and serious injury" is behind us! Using real-life stories, expertise in psychology and safe mobility, research facts and pedagogical approaches we explored key aspects of dealing with sudden loss and serious injury (in road traffic crashes) in an educational setting. 30 participants working as educational professionals in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools also worked in groups to create a plan of action for the educational institution in the event of a road traffic crash with the most serious consequences for the pupil/student or close relatives. Thank you all for your active participation.

Psychological support
A road crash is a very stressful experience for the injured person as well as for his/her family and friends. Life changes in an instant, simple things become complicated, nothing is the same as it was. We wonder why this happened to us. We experience feelings of being alone with our pain, of not being understood. There can be anger, anxiety, sadness, feelings of loneliness and loss of meaning in life. It is often too difficult to cope with such distress, let alone to get on with our lives on our own. At Zavod Varna Pot, we offer psychological support based on cognitive behavioural therapy, provided by highly qualified psychologists.
